Company Structure

 

WE FOCUS ON PRODUCTION OF JUICES, NECTARES, AND NONCARBONATED FRUIT BEVERAGES AS WELL AS FROZEN FRUT AND VEGETABLES. THE THIRD KEY BUSINESS AREA IS MAKING FRUIT JUICES CONCENTRATES. THE NEXT BRANCH OF OUR BUSINESS IS DISTRIBUTION OF FROZEN FOODS. WE ARE A PRIVATE JOINT STOCK COMPANY (SPÓŁKA AKCYJNA, SA) WITH A HOLDING STRUCTURE. THE HORTEX GROUP COMPRISES: HORTEX HOLDING SA (MOTHER COMPANY), ORTIKA POLSKA SP. Z O. O., HORTEX MARKETING SERVICES SP. Z O. O., REN SP. Z O. O.. MOREOVER, HORTEX HOLDING SA IS A COOWNER (50 PER CENT OF VOTES AT SHAREHOLDER’S MEETINGS) OF CHŁODNIE EUROPEJSKIE SP. Z O. O, IGLOMEN SP. Z O. O., AND ALLFOOD SP. Z O. O.

Production and sales of juices, nectars, and other noncarbonated fruit beverages is the responsibility of the Hortex Holding. Its subsidiary, Hortex Marketing Services, is the owner of the Hortex brand, manages it, and renders marketing services for the remaining companies from the Hortex Group.

The second subsidiary is Ortika Poland, which deals with all frozen foods business and renders IT services to the entire Hortex Group. Frozen foods and concentrates production as well as frozen foods sales on the Polish market and to CEE countries are handled by its subsidiary, Polski Ogród, while the Russian market is the domain of its second subsidiary, Ortika Frozen Foods.

Ren and its subsidiary Jumar, Chłodnie Europejskie, Iglomen, and Allfood deal with frozen foods distribution.

Hortex Holding and its subsidiaries have about 2,000 employees. During periods of increased purchasing and processing of fruit and vegetables (July–December) seasonal workers join the team.

To ensure ultimate efficiency the production is concentrated in three specialized, cutting-edge processing plants. Juices are made in the plant in Przysucha near Radom, while frozen foods are produced in Ryki and Skierniewice.

We also pay attention to the distribution and availability of our products, because we want to be as close to our consumers as possible. Consequently, our products can be purchased in all types of shops selling groceries.


Such wide distribution is facilitated by:

  • cooperation with specialized distributors active in the whole country and leading retail chains
  • our own sales force team comprising three channels of sales
    • traditional retail (retail outlets)
    • modern sales (supermarket and hypermarket chains)
    • Horeca market (professional gastronomic market — restaurants, bars, cafeterias, etc.).
